Dear Family, so happy for Jill and Bryan and a new baby. 30 Grandchildren.....How blessed we feel. I get teary thinking of them all. From Ryan at 20 years to Bella a few weeks. That's a span of many years. Hope for more though in the future. Especially from Kris, Brenen and Kim ha ha. Or anyone else that would like. The Gospel is true, I know it for a fact and we pray daily for all of you. Stay strong and sure in the Church of Jesus Christ. This week on Sat. we had the priviledge of taking an older couple, in their 40's or there abouts, it's hard to tell, no one is wrinkled here unless they are ancient.ha ha to the Temple in Accra to get their endowments and be sealed. It was a fun and spiritual experience. Since they know us now at the Temple and we are friends with Pres. Riding and the Gentrys and others in the Temple it is an even neater experience as they treat us great when we come. After we treated the couple, the Azahs, to dinner at the Mall on our way home. It was the first time they had been to the Accra Mall and were star struck if you know what I mean. A lot of people never even get outside of their villages. We all had chicken and rice in one form or another, surprise, what else is there. Power off and on at different times all last week. It is so common now we just plan on sitting and sleeping in the hot. I am getting used to reading by flashlight, except that attracts little black bugs and flies. Charles can't stand it so he has gone to bed early, a couple of nights, 6:30 or 7:00 , it is totally dark by then everyday, course on sat. nights he gets up in the early morning and looks on the computer to see how the BYU games come out. It is a shame he can't get them on our computer. Speaking of computer, I have tried sending pictures this past week to a lot of you and can't get them to go through. This week we will go to Accra again and I will get help to see why. I have hundreds of pictures but I'm not sure which ones you would like to see.It is hard to send very many at a time. I'll keep trying. The plumber came this week to fix the leak under the kitchen sink. He ended up taking the taps off and buying a new one (for the second time) and the whole top of the sink out. The sink is stainless steel, old with stainless drainboards on both sides, so it is quite big. Charles told him not to take it out but he did anyway, said he couldn't get to it unless he did. Anyway he fixed it and left. It took him until 4:00 to fix it. Missionaries came for dinner and I managed to have dinner ready without water only out of the bottles. But the dinner was good and boys were happy for another week. This was on Thurs. When we got up Friday morning there was water all over the floor, thank goodness it's just old cement. The pebbly looking , shine is worn off and water can't hurt it. ha ha. We had to turn the water off. We turned it on a couple of times on Sunday and finally today he is here again to fix it again. Too bad the plumber is from our Branch, or we'd get a different one. We feel we have to help him make a living, since we know him. I told him today this was it. He laughed. I said, you've replaced everything twice. He still laughed. It really makes you appreciate the conveniences of home. By the way, I hope you all have your food storage. You will need it. And be sure you get extra water , bottled or something. Jill I have empty plastic ones down in the storage room, fill them with water if you can, so you'll always have water . I know now how it is to not have any to drink or wash in. Do it. There are suppose to be tumultuous times ahead, so try and prepare if you can. Get ahead. Use my food storage if you need too. It's all still good, some of it a little older than other. Well enough advice. Hope you are all doing good. Listen and read and follow the Prophet. We love you all, have a good week. Love mom and dad
