April 27, 2008

Happy day it rained again today and was cooler, we finally got to watch April conference. We watched the Sunday sessions, both of them one right after the other. We have to do it that way because the people can't just come and go twice. It makes it so long, but that's Africa. It was so good I loved every talk and every song. Pres. Monson, is going to do just great, but didn't we already know that. The Church is true. Can't remember if I had told you about the other day when we came home after being away for about two hours to find the door open and the little boy named Peter in here, he said there had been a man in here and he, meaning Peter told him to go away. We started questioning Peter and said it was a man with a red shirt. We told Peter not to come in again. He left. We wanted to believe Peter about the man, but then Charles reminded me that the last time Peter had come he had seen him put something in his pocket. When we came in the house looking around to see if anything was missing we found the candy bar in the fridge with a bite out of it and on the floor, we found the cookies opened and one stuck in the hole in the wash basin in the bathroom and a cookie in the bucket in the shower. The chalk board on the wall has a message on in that said make you clean the dirty board. I had toys in the bathroom hall for the nursery and some of them were in a different sack not how I had them one with the two balls in it and the other some of the other toys. In the ball sack was also a package of my needles and a box of safety pin and a package of two new pens in it and they were sitting side by side just in the bedroom doorway like they had just been put there when we came in the drive way. Also, the sack hanging on the bathroom door that we put garbage in was dumped on the floor. Needless to say we were really spooked. The spare key that we keep on the bookcase was in the door. Charles then remembered that Peter had put something in his pocket the last time he was here. Other things were out of place, like the clothes in my garment drawer and things like that. Peter has been back twice since, I didn't let him in and he rang the bell and knock and finally went a way. Last night he came again and Charles went outside to talk to him and confront him, and this time he said he was not a thief and that a man with red shoes had been in there. What do you think? Today when we came from church, Charles went in the hall to go to the kitchen and noticed the barred door open, which can only be opened from the inside and never is opened as a rule and the door was unlocked, which never is unlocked, The only time we have used that door was when our front door wouldn't open for two days. And Charles swears it was closed when we left for church or we would have noticed. The door to the garage was also unlocked. We couldn't find anything gone or out of place. Who knows, it just kinda spooks a person. I'm sending this much before it goes off more to come. Mom
